Divergent Harmonies

Divergent Harmonies is set in a fictional town in Northumberland, England in 1816.
Jack, an ex-solder with ADHD and Anastasia, a spinster, have spent the bright years of their lives living in relative isolation. A chance encounter between them both sparks a connection that they both feel deeply, regardless of their personal choices for solitude.
When Jack's brother turns up and continues to cause trouble for Jack, Anastasia and the rest of the town are unwillingly drawn into the long-standing feud. During the events that unfold, Jack and Anastasia slowly begin to understand that relying on each other is better than suffering in silence, especially when forces, both benign and malignant, outside of their control throw them together again and again.
Will they discover their compatible personal strengths, and that they can stand together against the world through their love for each other, regardless of what it throws at them?
