Trade Unions and Workplace Democracy in Africa

Considers how workplace democracy can broaden and deepen the democratisation process in Africa. This book argues that democracy can only survive if it is participatory, that participatory democracy is a necessary condition for sustainable development, and that trade unions are ideally placed to contribute to the democratisation of the economy.
