The Comet

It's been 5000 years since they were last here. The experiment initiated that long ago day was one of the most ambitious ever attempted. They can barely contain the eagerness with which they anticpate seeing the wondrous results of their handiwork. However once they enter Earth's atmosphere their hopes are quickly dashed. What has befallen the planet leaves then staring aghast in revulsion. Can they right the wrongs? Do they have the proper tools? Do they have enough time? Where the hell do they begin?
