Beskrivelse af Save, Save More, Keep Saving
Save, Save More, Keep Saving was written for children and for teenagers, aged 10 through 18. In school terms, that means the book is designed for fourth graders through high school seniors.
Three of the chapters in the book are about individuals: a 10-year-old named Heather; a 13-year-old named Claire; and a 17-year-old named David. Heather, Claire, and David are siblings in the Jefferson family. The reader also meets their parents, Brad and Anne Jefferson.
Throughout the book, everyday situations are presented as the Jefferson family members discuss and apply important ideas about good money management.
The book is designed to be reader-friendly, to be enjoyable, and to be meaningful. The book is lively and is filled with much conversation. The book is not a lecture about money. Instead, the book is an experience which enables the reader to learn some useful life lessons which are summarized by the overall idea of "save, save more, keep saving."
Parents and guardians can use this book as a resource for teaching financial literacy to children and to teenagers. Children and teenagers who read this book may have questions about money. Those questions can become the basis of discussions that parents and guardians have with children and teenagers in their family. Teachers also can use this book as a resource for teaching students about financial literacy.
Save, Save More, Keep Saving is more than a book. It is an important way of thinking which can be beneficial to children, to teenagers, and to people of all ages.
