Rain

A teenaged girl wakes up one day to realize -- she doesn't know who she is, who her friends are, or where she came from. It's as if she never existed before this moment. Maybe she didn't. As Rain questions her sanity and unravels her past, she finds nothing but questions within questions. Is she real? Or was her whole life invented for her? By who? Is she even human? She's not the only person in her head either. Other distinct personalities are competing with her own. Someone knows what happened. Someone is controlling her through a haunting melody, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," played over the telephone or when she least expects it. It's just a question of how deep the rabbit hole goes. "Rain" is a story about existential dread, mental illness, found family and female friendships, and the terrifyingly open-ended challenge of defining yourself in a world that wants to tell you who you are.
