Beskrivelse af Ursula
""Ursula: The Vicar of Tours"" is a novel written by the French author Honore de Balzac and published in 1917. The story is set in the town of Tours, France, during the early 19th century and follows the life of Ursula Mirouet, a young orphan girl who is raised by her uncle, a wealthy and influential lawyer. Ursula's life takes a dramatic turn when her uncle dies and she is left with nothing but a small inheritance. She is then taken in by her cousin, who treats her poorly and tries to steal her inheritance. Ursula's only hope is the local vicar, who becomes her mentor and helps her navigate the treacherous waters of her new life. The novel explores themes of love, betrayal, and redemption, and is considered a classic of French literature.Illustrated By Adrien Moreau And J. A. Muenier. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
