Beskrivelse af The Baron's Destiny
A second chance at love!
English lord, John Montague is a baron of the Cinque Ports. He's been told by the king he needs to marry right away and produce an heir. While campaigning in France, John is struck by an arrow and thrown from his horse in the midst of a storm. Dangling from a cliff, he calls for help, but isn't happy at all to see his angry ex-wife appear with a bow and arrows in her hands.
Lady Celestine de Bar had married at a very young age. But when the Montague family accused her of being a witch, the marriage ended abruptly. After fourteen years of living a life of hell, she's finally found her chance to change things. She discovers her ex-husband in France, still unmarried, and decides to take matters into her own hands.
However, now she realizes that shooting the man with an arrow might not have been the best way to win him back. She needs him, because she has a secret that she's sure he's not going to want to hear.
Can a man who measures his worth but the things he owns, find happiness with a woman of his past who demands a promise before she'll save his life?
