Beskrivelse af Something Good
Carriage House Chronicle #4High on a hill stood a lonely rocker...
Rob Westerbrook's not dealing well with moving on. His four children are overprogrammed in hopes they forget their mother took off with a guy named Vern in his converted school bus tiny home. As a successful musician, maybe, things were looser in his family structure before she left. But now he's stepping up to the plate.
His children would say overstepping-
After a parade of nannies, babysitters, kid sitters and one woman who insisted on being called a governess, the kids are taking their lives back.
Harley Sumner's aimless after a string of awful boyfriends and several miserable jobs. Her sister hooked her up for the summer, driving kids around. Harley wasn't looking to change her life, just get it together. And then he smiled.
Harley can't discount the way he makes her feel in private and the way the kids make her feel in public. Rob isn't sure letting go of the past won't affect everyone's future. But his unlikely nanny, Harley, might be the key to writing a new song.
Nothing comes from nothing; nothing ever could...
Perhaps they're both ready for Something Good.
A slight Sound of Music retelling, but with rockstars. Rob Westerbrook was a side character featured in the Shock Mount, Crossfade and Follow Me: Carriage House Chronicle number one. Something Goos is the fourth story in the Carriage Chronicles. Randomly released novellas that are swoony, steamy, funny reads for when you don't know what to read next. No cliffhangers, and always a happily ever after.
