Sabrina was a teenage addict who hung out with the wrong crowd and partied until her father caught her sneaking back into the house one day. Her boyfriend at the time took advantage of her.
Her father made her get her act together, so she quit her addiction, finished high school, and went to college, leaving behind her old life, friends, and boyfriend before finding new friends that had a good influence on her.
Sabrina was on Spring Break with her friends when she met Zach Mason, the man of her dreams. He consumed her thoughts, and their relationship moved fast, but it moved even faster when she was attacked.
Zach took care of her and nursed her back to health even after Sabrina found out that Zach knew the guys who attacked her, or at least he realized he did after seeing their picture.

Sabrina spent most of her spring break with Zach but felt guilty because she was supposed to be having fun with her friends. Zach did his best to include Sabrina's friends so she had the best of both worlds. She got to spend time with Zach and her friends, making life seem pretty good.
Sabrina could identify who had attacked her right before someone started shooting at her.
