In the first book of the Tana-Waka series, Tana-Waka is summoned from his dying planet Earth to another world. An earthlike world with two moons inhabited by a native people not unlike the Native American peoples of Earth. He is their hope to end an ongoing war and unify two enemies who were once one people.
