Handbook of IPv4 to IPv6 Transition

Coined as the next generation protocol, IPv6 will solve the arduous problem of limited IP addresses and improve internetworking capabilities. However, during the 3-6 year transition period, IPv6 and its predecessor, IPv4, will have to successfully coexistent in order to ensure service continuity.
