Funny sh*t my Nonna says

Nonna's come in all shapes and sizes, and have one great thing in common - their huge hearts, feisty, brutal, honest humour and unique wit. My Nonna is 91 as I finish this little book about her. I aimed to capture some of the essence of my Nonna; her quirkiest, funniest comments captured like a time-capsule for eternity. When sharing passing comments that she has made, I quickly realised that many people appreciate the quirkiness that is my Nonna, so decided to open this book up to the public for more to enjoy. The majority of this book was written over the past few years, when the world went slightly crazy, locked down and left me grounded in Australia, the other side of the world from my Nonna. Writing this book somehow managed to make me feel closer to her. I hope her heartfelt personality bursting through her quirkily expressed words bring a smile to your face, and warm your heart, because ultimately, that's what Nonna's do. My Nonna has helped to keep my heart happily heated for the best part of my 40 years, so now it's time for me to share a piece of that warmth with you, for your heart and mind to enjoy.
