Deep Cover

How can you fall in love at first sight with someone you'll never see again? Davidson (Dave) Reynolds agreed to take on one last mission as a favor for a friend-a mission that probably won't kill him and might even keep his constant wanderlust in check for a few days. All he has to do is a week's worth of "Deep Cover" by pretending to be Vera Northrup's new husband.
Vera (Vee) Northrup did the one thing her grandmother told her never to do-she married in haste, and boy, is she repenting in leisure. Vee's ex-husband was everything she thought she wanted-tall, dark, handsome, mysterious, and ready to show her the world.
Too bad that their globetrotting was just a cover for her ex's terrorist activities.
Now, Vera has to turn to the Phoenix Force to protect her until she can meet with the federal agents who will take her evidence and help her secure a spot in the Federal Witness Relocation Program.
But Vee and Dave soon discover there is more to this undercover gig than dodging bullets and pretending to be Mr. and Mrs. Perfect in the Philly suburbs. They have to avoid Cupid's arrows, too.
