Unlike Jane Austen's original, in this Pride and Prejudice variation, Fitzwilliam Darcy meets Miss Elizabeth Bennet before coming to Netherfield Park with his friend Charles Bingley. The last thing Darcy was looking for was a wife. However, he found he was unable to forget the young woman with the chestnut curls and flashing eyes that tempted him almost beyond decorum.
Darcy would give his life for the woman to whom he lost his heart. Appalled that there came a need to protect her from an old foe, Darcy will move heaven and earth to not only protect Elizabeth, but he will do everything in his power to marry his beloved as well. But will he be able to do that in the face of his worst enemy?
