He could feel the tension the minute he saw Jamie which was a shame because there was this feeling that he wanted to hold her and touch her. He couldn't figure how he could hate her and yet want to touch her at the same time. She was relentless in her pursuit of his future. Every time he came up with a good idea at work Jamie would crush it or she would take credit for it. He just couldn't seem to get anything done in his department for Jamie putting up roadblocks. He had projects everywhere setting unfinished. He was totally frustrated with Jamie and when they got around each other it was like fire and water. Their personalities just clashed.When Jamie first came to the firm Jim thought she was a beautiful girl. Every time he saw her he got a feeling in his stomach that he wasn't used to. He just couldn't put his finger on what the feeling was. He even tried to ask her out after work one day just to talk and get to know one another. She flatly refused. She told him she didn't date employees and beside that she had a boyfriend. She wouldn't let him explain that he just wanted to set and talk with her. He had no intentions of asking her on a date. She was too uptight for him to think about dating.She was constantly bothered by some of the men in the company making little flirtatious remarks to her. She knew she had the beauty to have any man she wanted but she didn't want anything to interfere with her ability to do her job.
