Beskrivelse af At Water's Edge
The time of gods has passed, but what of the children they abandoned?
The nereids, left behind, lose purpose and no longer spend their time rescuing sailors or helping lost ships find their way safely home. Instead, they waste their days singing to the beach visitors of the local village to gain gifts in exchange for the luck they bring.
Disgusted with her sisters, Thelsa spends her time searching out other children of the gods left behind in the hopes that they are not the last of the magic in their world. When the town Watchers, Harun, Kaveth, and Neo come to the beach to run drills and exercise, they draw her attention. Their bravery keeps her coming back, and soon draws her from the water.
But as her heart races with excitement for each time they meet, fear also sets in. For to love a human is to leave the sea and immortality. Will Thelsa take the risk, or stay in the seas cold embrace?
