A Song For Lisa

A story of a young American woman captured by the Japanese in the Philippines, 1941. Like most prisoners, she was brutalized and sadistically treated with a cruel disregard for human life. Three years later, Lisa and her companions had reached the low point of starvation and abuse so that they willed themselves to die or committed suicide. Living was not worth the effort.
