Beskrivelse af Writings V2
Writings V2 is a book that features a comprehensive collection of writings by the famous American President, Abraham Lincoln. This book is the second volume of a series that showcases some of Lincoln's most important speeches, letters, and other written works. The book includes a wide range of topics, including Lincoln's views on slavery, the Civil War, and the Union. It also includes his famous speeches such as the Gettysburg Address and his second inaugural address. Additionally, the book includes Lincoln's personal letters, which provide insight into his thoughts and feelings on various issues. The writings in this book are presented in their original form, providing readers with a firsthand account of Lincoln's thoughts and beliefs. This book is an essential read for anyone interested in American history, politics, or the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln. But I will not argue further. I perhaps ought to say that individually I never was much interested in the Texas question. I never could see much good to come of annexation, inasmuch as they were already a free republican people on our own model. On the other hand, I never could very clearly see how the annexation would augment the evil of slavery. It always seemed to me that slaves would be taken there in about equal numbers, with or without annexation. And if more were taken because of annexation, still there would be just so many the fewer left where they were taken from. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
