Beskrivelse af Woman's Rights Tracts (1854)
Woman's Rights Tracts is a collection of essays and speeches by American abolitionist and women's rights advocate, Wendell Phillips. Published in 1854, the book includes Phillips' influential writings on women's suffrage, education, and legal rights. Phillips argues that women should have the same rights as men, including the right to vote and own property. He also critiques the social and legal institutions that perpetuate gender inequality, such as marriage laws and the lack of access to education and employment opportunities for women. This book is a significant contribution to the early feminist movement in the United States and provides insight into the struggles and debates surrounding women's rights in the mid-19th century. Also By Thomas Wentworth Higginson And C. I. H. Nichols. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
