Wolves of the Dark Wood

The Red and the Grey Wolves battle in the Dark Wood, observed by Dugwumman, the Woodcutter. She is orphaned as a young girl and is sent to live at the edge of the brooding forest, where her only emotional connection is singing with the wolves.
Barriers are crossed as two wolves struggle to break free from the darkness and ways of the past to find a new life but they face obstacles that are as high as the tallest trees in the Dark Wood.
