Within You is the Power

Open up learning about their own 'power'- and it immediately takes that power away by claiming that an individual can not access their own power until they meet certain standards set by a deity, or other 'higher knowledge' individuals... It's fine if people choose to believe in God. However... If they usurp the empowerment of another human being, and try to force their personal opinions (and demands) on those other individuals, then it is manipulation. Such is a pervasive problem which has tainted education for centuries- the few decide for the many, based on their personal opinions and lack of education about the diverse aspects of life. It's an interesting book to read, in that you can see where people have been manipulated by some groups (who may, or may not have some intriguing answers about human abilities).
