As a promise to her grandmother, all Gianna wants is to make good grades and graduate from college. After the murder of her boyfriend, she wonders if that's even possible. But by working hard, she manages to push through and excels in her classes. When she ends up in Professor Jonas Alexander's anatomy class, she feels an instant attraction to the man.
