Who Did You See?

- A Journey of Forgiveness, Healing and Restoration

Bag om Who Did You See?

I am a survivor. I have been a victim of childhood sexual abuse, a victim of severe emotional abuse, and a victim of domestic abuse. I have lost almost everyone close to me. I have survived three failed marriages and raised my three children on my own until now. After hiding from the abuse for more than four decades, I found that opening up about the abuse helped to heal the scars. I no longer run from a single one of those scars; I embrace them. Those scars have made me a better mother, a better wife, a better friend, and a better person. I no longer get up and look in the mirror to prepare for battle as I start my day. I look in the mirror and see a reflection of a woman who is loved, and most importantly, loves who she sees flaws and all. Each circumstance has shaped me into the person I choose to be today. I choose to love unconditionally, and not let the people who hurt me define me.In this book, I share my story and hope that it will help people find their voice to tell their own story.
