Beskrivelse af West Roxbury Sermons, 1837-1848
West Roxbury Sermons, 1837-1848: From Unpublished Manuscripts (1892) is a collection of sermons by Theodore Parker, an American Transcendentalist and Unitarian minister. The sermons were delivered in the West Roxbury Unitarian Church in Massachusetts, where Parker served as the minister from 1837 to 1846. The book includes 29 sermons, all of which were previously unpublished. The sermons cover a wide range of topics, including religion, morality, politics, and social justice. Parker's sermons are known for their progressive views and his advocacy for abolitionism and women's rights. The book provides an insight into the religious and social climate of the mid-19th century in America and the role of Unitarianism in shaping it.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
