We Have Not Been Listening: The Awakening

In this second book of the trilogy, We Have Not Been Listening: The Awakening, we get a close-up view of how God, through the Holy Spirit, works in the lives of those who have found a renewed relationship with Him, despite how far they may have strayed in the past.
We see Carlos ministering to his new congregation despite his intense feelings of unworthiness and doubt. Randy is forging ahead like an old saint on fire for the Lord, and C. J. discovers that being a P.K. (preacher's kid) is not enough to sustain the demands of a Christian walk.
But the lives of these folks are not without their difficulties and challenges, from sickness and injury to near knife fights, an attempt to steal drugs, and more. The real world is alive and well, even within the walls of Saint Augustine Baptist Church.

We Have Not Been Listening: The Awakening is a work of fiction that shouts aloud the fact God is a God of many, many chances for those who are truly willing to follow Him.
