Walking With Pappa

Six-year-old Cora loves to go on nature walks with her grandfather, who she calls Pappa. Today she is hoping to find something special for Show and Tell at school. Will Cora be able to find something? What game do you think they will play on their walk? Pappa and Cora enjoy the beautiful spring day and Cora does find something unique. It's even blue, her favorite color. But Cora later changes her mind and surprises Pappa with a different idea for her Show and Tell. Come along with Cora and her grandpa on their walk. Donna Ruth Stawarz, an elementary teacher for 35 years, lives in the Laurel Highlands of western Pennsylvania. Now retired, she lives with her husband Joe and their gray tabby cat, Jewel, who is very inquisitive and full of antics! Donna loves animals and has had various pets and farm animals throughout her childhood. Reading, writing, nature, and spending time with family are things she especially enjoys. She has fond memories of walking with her father through the fields and woods on their family homestead. She also loves to relax in her tree house, reading or just listening to the sounds of spring peepers, songbirds, or the rustling of deer and squirrels. She values being able to stay connected with friends and distant relatives on social media, and enjoys being an encouragement to others in their life journeys. She thanks God for giving her a passion for writing, particularly for children. This is her second published children's book.
