James Sawyer has been a shit-disturber from birth--an immature prankster at worst, a genius conman at best. Timothy Lassiter is a ruthless lawman determined to deliver justice to everyone and anyone... or would at least like to see himself as such. The two find themselves in the lawless city of Santa Barbara in the years preceeding the Civil War and, in spite of unfortunate first impressions, dive into an odd new relationship.
