Beskrivelse af Unspoken History
Unspoken History is the story of tens of thousands of English children who, in the name of charity, were taken form England and shipped to the Empire's colonies as indentured servants. They were orphans and impoverished children sent abroad to be the labor force needed to build an empire. Their's is a story of neglect, abuse, servitude and rejection. Only now are the stories coming out about this program known as the Home Children. Unspoken History is the tale of one families struggles within this system. Follow the lives of Florence Gertrude, Alice and Albert Jackson as they go to a new life in Canada.
