Beskrivelse af Ultimate Weapon
David was an inmate at a federal camp in Florida, USA. He was arrested seven years ago on his return from Switzerland. The charges: conspiracy to counterfeit.
He was offered a deal to gain his freedom by turning in a friend of his and a lawyer. David denied being involved in the conspiracy and also refused to cooperate in involving his friends on a setup.
The trial lasted three weeks. Eight codefendants testified against him. The jury found him guilty, and he was consequently sentenced to ten years in prison.
He was first sent to many prisons around the country that were high-level security. Five years later, he was sent to a camp.
He had won on an appeal and was supposed to be sent free. During his first year in a camp, awaiting to be freed, he met an acquaintance that used to be the mayor of a Florida City that was indicted and sentenced to several years in jail. The former mayor helped the government indict many bankers in Florida. David witnessed a discussion involving the former mayor, where the latter said he wanted to help the government against a Florida banker by testifying against him falsely so he could get his sentence expunged and he'd be set free.
David tried to dissuade him from falsely testifying but instead to say the truth against the banker, whom David did not even know, but to no avail. David ended testifying in favor of the banker. The banker's charges were dropped due to the strong testimony against the former fraudulent mayor.
The banker got off as well. The former mayor was also freed. But David's order to be freed was overturned by the sentencing judge. This was in retaliation against David for defending the banker against the government, a common practice to anyone helping against the prosecution.
He was now in his seventh year of incarceration and had an additional eighteen months to finish his total sentence.
During his seven years in jail, David wrote many books that were later published. This past year, he wrote a historic fiction novel called The Diary of a Prime Minister of Israel. The book had a good review and acceptance by the critics and public. To better understand the following story, it is imperative to read the book he wrote. In it, he is the prime minister of Israel. He reconquered the land of Israel given to the Arabs by former governments. It was a global war that included twenty-two Arab nations in addition to many former USSR Moslem nations and certain European countries that had joined the war against Israel.
David met Sarah, the most beautiful woman in his life. Being divorced, he married her, and their love became greater than any love ever mentioned in all time. Not even Romeo and Juliette could be compared to their ultimate, selfless love.
Through miracles, the Messiah's arrival, and science, the war was won by Israel. At last an eternal peace was achieved. David decided to resign and dedicate his life to his beloved wife, Sarah. That book and story was fiction, however. The Vicious Circle is real-at least to the author.
