Beskrivelse af Two Rare Tracts Relating to the State of New York, 1609-15
""Two Rare Tracts Relating To The State Of New York, 1609-15: Champlain¿¿¿¿¿¿¿s Expeditions To Northern And Western New York"" is a historical book written by Samuel De Champlain and published in 1887. The book contains two rare tracts that provide an insight into the state of New York during the early 17th century. The first tract, ""Des Sauvages: Ou Voyage De Samuel Champlain, De Brouage, Fait En La France Nouvelle L'an 1603"", describes Champlain's first expedition to the region in 1609, where he encountered the Mohawk and Algonquin tribes. The second tract, ""Voyages De La Nouvelle France, Faits Par Le Sieur De Champlain Xaintongeois, Capitaine Ordinaire Pour Le Roy En La Marine"", details Champlain's subsequent expeditions to the region in 1610-1615, where he explored the Hudson River, Lake Champlain, and Lake Ontario. The book provides a valuable historical account of the early exploration and colonization of New York, as well as the interactions between European explorers and Native American tribes.A Letter From A Gentleman Of The City Of New York Concerning The Late Revolution. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
