She received her M.S. from the University of Oregon and her B.A. in English Literature. Her poems have been published in the Austin International Poetry Festival Anthology, Tiger's Eye Poetry Journal, Glass: A Journal of Poetry, Arabesque Journal, The Quizzical Chair Anthology, (Uttered Chaos Press) the Anthology It Demands a Wildness of Me (Uttered Chaos Press) and other journals. She was nominated for the Pushcart Poetry Prize in 2008. She's taught at Oregon State University and currently teaches at Lane Community College. She's the author of Transcending Damnation Creek Trail & Other Poems (Flutter Press 2010). Tin Coyote is her second book of poems.
