Thy Kingdom Divided

Jesus came preaching about the kingdom and his last words to us focused on unity. Within a few years of his departure, the kingdom was facing its first major crisis-the impending split between Jews and Christians. Two millennia later, we continue to divide among ourselves with no end in sight. And yet, we think we have a message to the world about how to get along. Jesus said the world would know him through the love and unity we have with each other. How can that be achieved? Paul gives us answers through his letter to the Romans, if we are able to read with open minds and open hearts.
