Imagine you are in the audience of an orchestra where the conductor of the band is unable to sync the various musicians to one tune. The problem with marketing is the same as some instruments tend to make more sound than the others and need to be handled correctly, an experienced musician knows the loudness of his instrument and plays it at the instruction of the conductor with the right set of instructions without which the whole music created is just noise now imagine being part of 100 such orchestras at the same time. Your audience is also exposed to such noise on a daily basis. Now imagine that while this form of noise is being played on there is a band whose conductor is able to play a piece of very soothing music, regardless of all the noise around and without the need of microphones or loudspeakers still all the people will be drawn to this as this conductor is able to bring his team together to sync something melodious. This is the effect that one can get with the right conductor at the top of the musical specialists.
