THE WELL AT WORLD'S END and Other Poems Max Reif Max Reif lives across San Francisco Bay from the city, and for years has taught, played music, and done "dramatic readings" of children's picture books for the pre-schoolers at Meher/White Pony School in Lafayette, California. Meher Baba "manifested His Glory" to Max in 1971. Since then Max has gone on pilgrimage to Baba's Samadhi in India several times, and lived for 8 years in the vicinity of the Meher Spiritual Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In 2013 Max published Journey from Here to HERE, a book of poems for Meher Baba which is available for purchase on the Lulu.com website. In 2016, Toward an Interior Sun: Awakening by a Master and the Difficult Journey Toward Discipleship, a book of Max's autobiographical prose stories, was published by The Mindful Word and is available from Amazon.com in many countries. Also in 2016 Max's CD of Baba songs, The Wake-Up Man, came out. He and his wife Barbara have been married 14 years, and are both grateful to Baba for bringing them together and Blessing their marriage and their home. "Some of us keep writing like we keep breathing. By now it has become a habit, a second-nature way of communing with the Beloved in time of abundance and in times of drought. Putting a book together becomes a kind of harvest. Here are some of the recent crop." Max Reif. 140 pages. New Humanity Books.God is real-life's purpose, to lose oneself in Him.
