The Way to Life and Immortality

This work by Reuben Swinburne Clymer proposes that mortality is neither necessary nor spiritually proper, and that a coming era of human wisdom will eventually defeat the very idea of dying through proper rigor, nutrition, lifestyle, and spiritual teachings. In an interesting twist, while Clymer was not an advocate of then-burgeoning medical science (and outright opposed vaccination) the prescribed dietary lifestyle for consumption patients is not only sensible but probably would have saved countless lives had it been generally adopted. The work alludes frequently to the Illuminati and Clymer proposes specific membership in the order and its teachings.
