The Spectral Samurai

The Spectral Samurai is the story of twins, Erin and Colin, who are learning to adapt to their burgeoning powers. This is a story of growth, as the twins learn about themselves, each other, and the strange and magical world around them. The twins are descendants of the Alaskan Tlingit tribe and are blessed with special powers.The book opens with the family visiting Tokyo. During a reunion with an old friend, the twins and their mother are attacked by a ghostly Samurai, who is searching for a magical katana with a gruesome history. We discover the twins are shapeshifters -- Erin into a Peregrine falcon, and Colin into an enormous wolf. They are able to temporarily vanquish the Samurai, who vanishes, leaving behind a fragment of an ancient prophecy-one that seems to refer to Colin and Erin. It calls them the "Twins of Chaos".Colin and Erin realize they must keep the Samurai from finding the ancient katana. What they do not know is how dangerous their quest would prove to be.
