The Shaman's Apprentice

The Shaman's Apprentice is the second in a series of a planned three volumes. Alexis Bishop, daughter of a prominent attorney and well-educated lawyer herself, is also the granddaughterdaughter of a Native American Medicine man. A new client, Rebecca Martinez, is beaten and dumped on the grounds of a school, in possession of enough cocaine to constitute intent to sell. The penalty will take twenty years of her young life. In addition, Rebecca is depressed; her mother is missing, and her father is dead. She is burdened by more trouble than any 19-year-old girl can handle.
