Beskrivelse af The Samaritan
Taking a page out of HP Lovecraft's works, Robert Atkins shares a story of too big, too regretful, too tragic and cosmically horrifying events that surely took place, somewhere, sometime, beyond the stars.
Jonathan Porter is a troubled man to say the least, in this lovecraftesque cosmic horror story he will often fight with his own morals, and quite literally with something else living inside him, it calls itself Brody. Not exactly a friend, not exactly a foe, but always working in his own separate interest. Accompanied by Brody, Jonathan embarks on a journey filled with lovecraftian and cosmic horrors beyond comprehension. All simply to get him out of his body, hoping to do some good along the way, he meets a cast of characters, from kind and hospitable to those aforementioned lovecraft inspired cosmic horrors. However, with each step forward, such a cosmic journey proves not to be a simple walk in the park. While living in this cosmic horror filled dimension (The Broken Bridge) taken from the mind of the brilliiant Howard Phillips Lovecraft, Jonathan discovers that sometimes the worst horrors one can encounter, aren't always the ones that actively persue us, such as cosmic beings or lovecraftian monstrousities. But the ones that haunt our minds.
In this regretful lovecraft style tale of cosmic proportions, he'll often find himself blurring the line between saint and sinner.
