The Road To Emmaus

- Christ's Gift of Life

Bag om The Road To Emmaus

This small work is only 60 pages long and is strictly an introduction to the larger platform of religious books by author George M. Papa. More like a pamphlet than a book, this work is chalked with current information regarding the aftermath of the restoration, which began in 1820. More precisely, this book is a series of essays and commentary on a number of topics that the author feels would be of interest to a newcomer to religion. Up front it explains the fall of Adam and the critical Atonement of Christ, which few know. In its own unique way, this treatise both attacks and explains religion. Admittedly, it skips, bounces and jumps from topic to topic, but it does so within the framework of a spontaneous 'fire for effect', which is intended to appeal to one who knows little or nothing about religion per se, yet does not object to the candor of an insider who is happy to spill the beans. The question arises, what is religion? The answer is simple. In the beginning, there was only one religion, and it was pure and undefiled, with information coming directly from God to Adam and Eve. All of the doctrine, promises, covenants and ordinances were included.
