The Purpose of Life

The ship of life that he was manning with his wife and two children foundered on the brutal realities of a foreign land. Despite hardships, the four enjoyed love, hope, and despair in their London basement flat, where not a single ray of natural and healing sunlight could penetrate. Faith, patient perseverance, and prayer reignited their dreams. The man's life journey turned into a quest to understand the purpose of life. He discovers that human beings are God's lieutenants on earth; and that the struggles of human existence are not penanced for their sins but an invocation to strive and thrive. This book addresses life's big questions, drawing on lessons from the Divine Scripture, and viewing human condition through the lens of leadership and strategy. In conversation with the readers, the author reveals the grand mission of life, at the heart of which is submission to God and service to humanity.
