Beskrivelse af The Pickering Manuscript
The Pickering Manuscript is a collection of poems and prose written by the renowned English poet, William Blake. The manuscript was discovered in 1897 by a book collector named Thomas Pickering and contains some of Blake's most famous works, including ""The Tyger"" and ""The Lamb."" The manuscript also features lesser-known works such as ""The Little Black Boy"" and ""The Blossom."" The poems and prose in the manuscript are written in Blake's signature style, which is characterized by its use of symbolism and mysticism. The Pickering Manuscript is considered an important piece of English literary history and is highly valued by scholars and collectors alike. Her Fairy skipp'd out and her Fairy skipp'd in; He laugh'd at the Devil, saying `Love is a sin.'
