Beskrivelse af The Other Side I
Society is accusing 17-year-old Leon Granttley of assaulting his childhood friend. While he says he is innocent, the legal system says otherwise.
His accuser, Allie Reincath, possesses more than ten photographs of her numerous marks and bruises. Despite the proof working against him, Leon says he wasn't responsible. He says that this incident was caused by a strange voice in his mind. One that he calls the devil.
No one but Leon can hear this voice. This Voice is one that taunts him daily. It manipulates him into doing things against his own will. Perhaps he did harm Allie. Leon does not remember doing anything to Allie and as a result, he has been diagnosed with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) solely for the fact that he cannot remember harming her. He questions whether or not there may be more to this voices story...
To cope with his disorder, he has been placed in an institution known as the Earthshine Facility, a place that helps rehabilitate patients so that they cab heal and return to society. But how can Leon leave this facility if he won't accept what he's done to Allie?
Is Leon Granttley guiltless? Or is there a responsibility that he has yet to claim? Find the truth of his story on, The Other Side.
Who Should Read TOS?
This isn't just a sci-fi story with fantasy elements. This is a story for those who have experienced trauma. May it be sexual abuse, narcotic abuse, childhood abuse, really every kind. If you've experienced anything that has troubled you in life, this is the story for you. In my 15 years of writing, this series served as an amazing escape. And I know it can do the same for you. The many characters in this ongoing series feel alive because of their traumas. It's what makes them who they are.
If you're struggling with trauma, you can see what they do to make light of theirs and how they build a community for one another to feel loved. Appreciated. The list goes on.
Escaping trauma through a book series like this might be just the remedy you need.
