Beskrivelse af The Noisy Classroom Goes to the Museum
This is the sequel/follow-up to 2020’s bestselling The Noisy Classroom, which was a 2020 Wishing Shelf Book Awards Silver Medalist; Finalist in the 2020 American Fiction Awards for Children’s Fiction; Winner of the 2020 American Fiction Awards for Best Cover Design, Children’s Books; and a Finalist in the Children’s Book Council’s Kids Book Choice Awards for Best Illustrated Character.
Author Angela Shanté has built her profile since releasing The Noisy Classroom with the release of 2021’s When My Cousins Come to Town, which made the New York Public Library’s Best Books for Kids list; she has ~1.5k followers on Instagram and has started her own publishing house, Sunday Dinner Publishing, “highlighting inclusive writing which brings everyone to the table.”
Angela Shanté taught in a classroom for 10 years, and wanted to continue to highlight the nontraditional classroom in a positive and inspiring way: “This classroom was much like my classroom. I believed in having fun, playing games, moving around, dancing, and enjoying the education experience [for the students and myself]. I think my classroom was dubbed ‘The Noisy Classroom’ because of it. I’ve found students can work, they can learn, they can be successful… and they can do so in a nontraditional way.”
Excellent diversity pick, full of humor and positive SEL character traits.
Book guide will be available and targeted for both educators and parents.
