Beskrivelse af The Nibelungs (1906)
The Nibelungs is a novel written by Ferdinand Schmidt and published in 1906. The book is based on the Germanic legend of the Nibelungs, a group of mythical dwarves who forge a powerful ring that brings great power and wealth to its owner. The story follows the lives of several characters, including the hero Siegfried, his wife Kriemhild, and the villainous Hagen, as they navigate their way through a web of love, loyalty, and betrayal. The novel is divided into three parts, each of which focuses on a different aspect of the story. The first part introduces the characters and sets the stage for the conflict that drives the plot. The second part follows Siegfried as he battles dragons and fights for the love of Kriemhild. The final part sees the characters face off against each other in a series of epic battles that ultimately lead to their downfall. The Nibelungs is a classic tale of love, power, and revenge that has been adapted into numerous films, operas, and other works of art over the years. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
