Beskrivelse af The Mugs & Saucers Café
Maggie Ashberry grew up in the country, spending her days helping her parents run the farm alongside her three younger brothers. She lived a quiet life with the expectation of marrying her long-time boyfriend, Pete, and settling down.
After five years of marriage, and Pete's consistent infidelity, he eventually left her for another woman. Maggie was single and heartbroken, left to take care of her ailing parents and run the family farm, dreaming of adventures from her youth. Then, after the loss of her parents and receiving her inheritance, she packed up her car and cat, left everything she'd ever known behind, and set out on the road. Maggie ended up in a little town in the middle of nowhere, hoping to make a fresh start and finally live independently. She bought a beautiful old house, opened her own bookshop, made new friends, and settled into life happily.
However, just when she came to accept that she would spend the second half of her life single, a familiar name popped up in town that reminded Maggie of snowy cottages and the only time she had truly been in love. Will their paths cross again? Is this stranger her long-lost love, and if so, will three decades apart allow them to reignite the passion they once shared?
Join Maggie as she embarks on a journey of love, friendship, and self-confidence while learning that it is never too late to take risks and find true happiness.
