Beskrivelse af The Hermetic Arcanum
The Hermetic Arcanum is a book written by Jean d'Espagnet in the 17th century. It is a work of hermetic philosophy, which is a spiritual and philosophical tradition based on the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus, an ancient Egyptian god. The book is divided into two parts, the first of which is a series of letters written by d'Espagnet to a friend, in which he discusses the principles of hermetic philosophy and the nature of the universe. The second part is a collection of alchemical treatises, which describe the process of transmutation and the creation of the philosopher's stone. The book is written in a highly symbolic and allegorical style, and is intended to be read by those who are already familiar with the principles of hermetic philosophy. It is considered to be one of the most important works of hermetic literature, and has been influential in the development of Western esotericism. This essay presents the secret work of the Hermetic philosophy wherein the secrets of nature and art concerning the matter of the philosophers' stone and the manner of working are explained in an authentic and orderly manner. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
