The Early South English Legendary or Lives of Saints is a book edited by Dr. Carl Horstmann. It is a collection of hagiographical texts that were written in the South West Midlands of England in the 13th century. The texts are written in Middle English and provide accounts of the lives of various saints and martyrs, including St. George, St. Thomas Becket, and St. Margaret.
