Beskrivelse af The Convergence & Divergence Between Human Rights & National Security
Some scholars believe that Globalization is totally helpful for the promotion of the human rights, while some other claim that it weakens the national security of states. But in fact, Globalization is neither a perfect achievement of the world community nor a failure. Globalization is the current and prevailing world order. In addition, the unipolar and multipolar world systems are assumed as its best-known alternative models. It is evident, the world order, which is now based on Globalization, affect the interrelationship of human rights and national security of states by regulating the international relations and international human rights law. The product of the process is concurrently convergence and divergence of human rights and national security; the convergence between fundamental human rights and national security along with the divergence of secondary rights and national security.
