The Beauty and the Bus

Irene, a Christian teen, is hooked on rock music. She befriends a poor girl from a broken, wicked family named Mindy. Irene invites Mindy to her home one week end in the hope of winning her to Jesus Christ. Mindy finds the records Irene has hidden, and the week end becomes a nightmare for Irene. She becomes convicted of the love of rock music. After she repents, and destroys the records, she volunteers to work on a church Sunday school bus route. Irene learns to love her bus captain, Miss Mote, and together they win Mindy after a tangle of events. The saga of the pink dress and shoes to match leads into another tangle of events which the author guides you through to the end. These events are the catalyst that brings Irene's atheist parents to faith in Jesus. This is a satisfying tale that kids and parents alike can enjoy.
