The Beatitudes

There is a deep need today to discover what true religion is. Around our world we have seen terrorist attacks in the name of religion. In America we have witnessed over the past decades a shift from a slowly dying traditional religion to a growing mega-church contemporary religion. If we want to hear God speak to us, we need to hear God speak to us in the simple but most profound words ever spoken. The words of Jesus. The message of his sermon on the mount. The blessings of the beatitudes. That is what this book is about. To hear God speak. To reclaim the true religion of Jesus. To let these eight principles transform our lives and return to the True Religion of Jesus. Jesus did not deliver his message in a haphazard manner. No, his message was an organized and systematic approach to what True Religion is. These eight eternal principles unlock for us the key to happiness in our lives, based on our connection with God. Mankind can only find happiness in the principles of Jesus. Men and women in all walks of life can connect with God. God speaks to us. We do not need to search near and far, high and low, on the surface or in the deep to find the True Religion. It is found here. The Beatitudes of Jesus. My book is practical. It is also theological. It is personal. It is also biblical. No stone is left unturned. Every area of our lives - our ultimate underlying dependency upon something else, our desperate need of forgiveness, our finest character quality, our greatest need and desire, our highest attribute as a person, our deepest connection with God, our greatest aspiration in life, and the final result of the days that come as a result of the practice of the principles of the True Religion - all are revealed by what Jesus said. In these principles are the pristine purity of what life is about and how we can connect with God.
